Subject: Joyous Biscuits in a Holiday Spirit
took me by surprise as an unusually bouncy biscuits show as of lately. Grass is green, sugaplum fairy, bernstein & chasnoff, & magellin were highlights. nice, intimate lead-in to the mayhem of 07

Subject: some shows are good enough...
... for 5 stars. this is one of them. set I is so happy, which is something they don't do very often. not only is it happy, but it's interesting the whole time through. GIG returns! and set II needs no explanation. it is really as good as it looks.

Subject: bisco
wow... the first set rips! everyone is playing well; especially Barber... just shredding it up!!! the second set; specifically the reactor->robots->conf looks sick, and i hope it sounds as ill as it looks (-> cyclone right now)!!!

I hope the rest of the holiday run sounds this good!

4 stars, 'cause it's never perfect ;-)

Notes

(1) first time played (music by Lowell Mason, adapted from Handel's Messiah)
(2) with 'Joy to the World' teases and 'Smell the Funk' ending (last played 5/5/01, 378 shows)
(3) last played 1/15/04 (139 shows)

This show will fit on two CDs by combining the first set and encore onto one disc.
